Who are FRA?

For the past 18 years, we have been providing independent risk assessments for property managers, across both the public and private sectors. The company was founded in conjunction with former Fire Officers Association (FOA) President, Mike Davies MIFireE,  who in his 30 year Fire Service career held senior appointments as Brigade Training Officer, Divisional Commander, Head of Forward Planning and Brigade Senior Operations Officer. He was also an Instructor at the Fire Service College at Moreton-in-Marsh.  Mike retired from Fire risk assessing and the business in 2017.

In 2012 following a complete review of the opportunities and challenges in our market we re-branded: our focus moved on-line for lead generation and we developed a cloud based report generator that our inspectors can access anywhere. Since relaunch we have grown from 2 full time Inspector’s to a national team of more than 35, most but not exclusively of whom, are either retired or serving Fire & Rescue Service personnel.

We as a company, are affiliated with the IFE and are accredited with Safe Contractor. We are currently going through our application for BAFE SP205 accreditation.

What do we do?

We provide property managers, landlords, facilities managers, educational establishments, business owners, care homes, holiday lets, compliance managers, and many more, with professional Fire Risk Assessments.

We only do Fire Risk Assessments.  We do not sell equipment or servicing.
